I know in this state, they ask everyone that's issued a driver's license and it's indicated that we're a donor on our license. Not sure if it's like that in all states??

The point of the event was to make people aware of how important it is to consider checking that box on your license. You can save lives.

I carry a donor card around with me. Over here you need to opt out if you don't want to donate.

My band mate donated his kidney to his Mother ten years ago and that is how I became involved with this group. I’ve met so many people who have survived thanks to donors.

Thank you Saint, love reading this! Our son was a donor and opted to receive updates after his passing. We know his eyes were among things others received.

I think they only used his retinas, not the whole eye. There were other things but I'm not remembering and will not dig through paperwork at this point. We know he helped, and that's all that matters
