Back after 3 weeks of vacationing in Europe: a cruise up the Rhine, Switzerland, and Austria. It's good to be home, though: glad to have the kitties around and sleep in my own bed.
Good the Rhine had enough water in it to cruise up. Great scenery

Not sure why it's called Rhine in English, it's not as appealing as its original name Rhone. I bet you had great food in your travels.

2 different rivers, both rise in Switzerland. Rhone flows south and empties into the med. Rhine rises in Switzerland and flows north through germany and empties into the north sea.

@NaughtyKat Yes, the food was exceptional. I was *very* pleased upon returning that I did not gain weight, though I know I was up 5 pounds about a week in.
