I am self employed and the only way I would even consider working for someone else would be becuase of serious financial/eceonomic downturn or major health issues.

Well, better benefits than I have working for myself, but yes, a lot more money. Of course you’re right though, I’m not complaining, just struggling with the decision. First world problems

The key factor may be not feeling fulfilled for a while. Self employment requires self motivation and fatigue/burnout/whatever can start making it really difficult to stay motivated and successful

I hope so, Adele. I’m usually happy with my lot. I don’t actually know if I could do that, might be too much on my plate, but I guess it is an option if I could ease into the new job.
