tip
Hi. I would appreciate artistic classy ideas for a tattoo to place over my surgical scar on the left breast. Any suggestions? And, please don't say cock n balls. I've seen enough to fill 2 lifetimes
bOObzman and Elle40 like this
that would require a short interview and a good look at the scar.. mind you, I am not a tattoist, lol.. but any excuse to look at boobs wink

Maybe vines to cover a scar, with some flower maybe.

From what I've heard the ink doesn't take very well on scar tissue. Good luck. Maybe something symbolic of your life's journey

Have a hunt around - I think there are a few tatto sites that have ideas.

Hi Gina, how about a small heart. I

I can post a photo but that would be too clinical. It needs to start on the inside at the clevege line, wrap up around nipple and then dip down n level off going to the underarm.

But as thoughts, Something like a vine, or wreath? or a creature? What ever you pick, make it something that has deep meaning to you

don't know that it's classy or artistic, but saw a zipper tattoo on a appendectomy scar once w/ "optional accessory slot" beside it. LOL

The vine and flowers sounds nice, and I have seen some awesome scarification. Just add some scars to your scars.

The tattoo would run along the scar tissue which is very minimal but still want something colorful and flowing. Been thinking about this for two years.

A hummingbird hovering near a cherry blossom vine.

Like I tell my wife, wear your scars proudly. They are a road map of where you've been and what you've overcome. Life's a battle and you're a champ, you won, wear your badge with pride. smile

Like TWL ' s idea. Have already investigated that for the list. TWL: we may have been sisters in a previous life

what about something the you identify with, a symbol or a vista uniquely you?

Gina, I have a giant burn on my left arm from a fire when I was a child. I wear it with pride. I survived, that is all that matters. You are gorgeous and so are scars. They show life and character

We may have been...lol. Don't let the cherry blossom branch be too big.

True all about wearing our scars for truth n their own story. It's not as much about covering up my breast cancer, but celebrating my survival with adornment!

Gina I stayed out of this till that comment! Huge pride for your attitude. Do what you like but vines I have seen have been very sexy.

I love you!

I am leaning towards a delicate look. Not full coverage! I know there are lots of creative sexy NN members out there to help!

I celebrate mine by showing off my survival of being in a fire.

TWL, as a Burn nurse for better years, I applauded your survival!

My scars are part of my charm. Everyone has a story, and I tell a sexy story. smile

Elle, I will. My plastic surgeon even gave me the number to his tattoo artist, one good thing, since it's numb, it wouldn't hurt as much! LOL!

Gina, check your messages.

My spelling correctly on this site would be a huge improvement!

Good thing I'm not planning to use language in this tattoo

Hoss, now I'm intrigued with your sexy scar story!
