is there a way to block people ? currently have a rude jerk harassing me.

You do, everyone does, it's top left on this screen, click it and look for you block list.

If you go to Your Account and then down the left hand side find Block List. You will need to enter the members exact name details and then select what you want to block them from...mwah xxx
