I've become less materialistic with age. The lottery was a novelty when it started, but I've not done it for years. I find it absurd that one person should win so much, when smaller prizes could help improve the lives of so many more.

Couldn't agree more Emu, £1 million would be life transforming for most of us. If you think the Euro lottery (not Brexit!) Is obscene, take a look at the Merican version.

Funny because I was just talking about the American Powerball with Daisy on our way back today. I think there are prizes that can give a winner hundreds of millions of dollars, and that's after taxes. So imagine waiting for a check for 450 million dollars to be made available in your bank account, and then going ''now what''. Obscene.
