I'm not going to give you the answer Jag ... you know :-) Best of all is, we have 2 laptop stands in the house .... Great advice and thank you for pointing out a focus point Jag ... xxx

EmuLater	22-May-17 17:12:26 If you only knew the number of people I advise against this when visiting customers. Never place a laptop on any cloth as the fun sucks up the fibres and eventually blocks the air vent. Also do not use a laptop placed on bare legs. Laptop burn is a real condition and medical reports indicate that using a laptop across the legs can indeed cause it. in very rare cases, the condition can cause damage leading to skin cancer. If you Google laptop burn on legs it's not a pretty picture!
