While I personally like the picture, technically it is against the rules. I am always sad when I see pictures of mens chests in the alerted queue, because I find a man's chest very sexy....but again...technically they are against the rules if they don't have some extra nudity added . And if your picture was allowed to stay while others like it are removed every day then mods would not be doing the best they could to apply the rules fairly. And please don't come at me arguing what is considered sexy.... there is never going to be a solid consensus of what is allowed to stay in the lingerie category. It is always going to one of the most contested categories because it is too subjective and there are no hard and fast rules given to moderate it.

P.S. Don't get mods (at least 99 percent of them) started on not being able to remove web pics! Grrr

Fire, I am not one to attack mods for anything. It's a thankless job that I would never want to do. I guess I'm to blame for not reporting pics I see that violate rules. Before I made this blog post, I quickly scanned through the 3 most recent pages of pics posted. There I found 2 pics of nothing but cleavage (not even half a boob out, nor nippleage), 1 fully clothed woman (that one had been reported) & a whole set of "fuck my wife pics" that clearly the woman had no idea they were posted here.

Anyhooooo.....it's all good. I removed @ 600 pics last year...seems like a good time to continue that process. ✌ *closes NN wallet*

As far reporting members, I frankly don't understand the process or the reasoning behind the decisions. There are many instances like yours while members I've reported in blatant violation of the rules stay posted.
Tell them to piss up a rope. This comes from one has renewed three times, bought a gift upgrade, and donated financially.

:) Enough already everyone! Is this worth creating more divisiveness? Not you Gotta, you said your point of view and it is valid. Your pic is indeed sexy. However this particular shot falls in an area where it can be interpreted by site moderators as not meeting expectations of the pic categories that are currently available. So it is actually understandable that someone flagged it and others voted for its removal. Right call, wrong call, it could be debated forever. Many pics that a lot of people would find sexy do not make the cut on the site, and many images that a lot of people find unarousing do make the cut. This has a lot to do with the picture categories that are in place, and they are listed for all to see. As are the rules. Perhaps this is not so much of a big deal in the grand scheme of things? We have had pics removed in the past because they were deemed not sexual enough. In one instance I had done the same as Gotta and posted it in a blog afterwards. Gotta undoubtedly is and remains a great, bona-fide nn member. The system here is not perfect, likely never will be, and the people trying to help are not perfect. On one side we hear that a number of members think that rules apply to some but not all, and from another angle we hear that some should be given the occasional free pass because of who they are...this is quite incoherent. One thing for sure is that the pics pages could quickly degenerate were it not for volunteer moderation effort. On other sites, there are likely rules and administrators and/moderators as well. If there aren't any, well, good luck with that. Peace out.

I might add that this photo was rated "insanely hot" within a couple hours and had six positive comments before its removal. Meanwhile, photos of someone's shoulder & shirt zipper have been up all day with hardly any views & no votes to speak of. Hmmmm 🤔 You win!

For those wondering why people report pictures....or that people should mind their own business. Can you imagine this site without any moderation? If you want moderation, then unfortunately there will be some calls that you won't agree with. Like Mitch said, there are times that we have to remove a picture even though we don't want to...because it breaks a rule.....possibly a vaguely written rule...but still a rule. The fact is, we are damned if we do and damned if we don't. And the ONLY way things will change is if the members go to NN himself. Going public with your complaints may certainly be satisfying but it doesn't accomplish anything in the long run. The only way to change the rules in by changing NN's way of thinking. But also remember this.... for every genuine lady like Gotta who posts a sexy non nude there are 20 jackwagons posting a non nude picture of their wife/gf/ex without their permission. So where does the line get drawn?
I just deleted a picture with 150 votes and 11 bookmarks and over 20 comments.... and it was so photoshopped that it looked plastic!!

Gotta, you know that you are liked and lusted over here. Don't let getting one picture removed change anything.

It's not that one picture getting removed has changed anything, fire. I'd call this the straw that broke the naked (or partially nude - or not?) lady's back. There needs to be another way to prevent fakes & maybe a lil wiggle room for people who are KNOWN to be real! Today alone, I could've reported at least 7 pics in 5 minutes because they were less nude than this, and not one bit sexy, in my opinion, but I didn't...cuz that's my OPINION! I would never go out in public with half my boob hangin out like this, but apparently some folks see it everyday...?
I know NN only has so much to work with and I don't know what the answer is. I see fake posters or posters of horrible quality pics bitchin in status every day about pics being removed, so now I see that my real/high quality pics are no better, I guess. Maybe there isn't a reasonable answer, but I just don't wanna be a part of the freak show that pics have become here. :2c:

NN is a busy man and I'm quite sure, in the long run, he doesn't give a shit whether he's getting money from a real woman with thousands of pics and vids posted or a pervert in his basement who believes all these posters are real.

If I do decide to actually start reporting pics, that que will fill up real quick! There's a reason I've always only viewed pics of those I follow. It only takes a minute to see tons of pics that CLEARLY voilate the "rules".

However, I'll just go back to my corner...it's a nice place.👌

Partial nudity can be much more sexier than full nudity, other sites allow this and the site runs smoothly without any problems...

Whoever changed the rules has opened a can of problems that will only get worse..

But who cares right....let's just keep quiet, get nude, stick a finger in our arses and pay up....or just tell NN our problems so he can ignore us.

Hi, sorry I am a bit late to see this...

Ok the pic in question I 100% agree that it should stay. So the first thing I did is looked at who nominated it to be voted on or off (stage 1), then who voted it off (stage 2), and finally which of our team reviewed and approved should be modded off (stage 3 - it's a 3 step process).

My findings are interesting, and I will have a chat to the person that nominated it for the mod vote queue to be a little more flexible. Stage 2 (mod voting) and 3 (admin review of modding) is where it all went wrong.

Admins, (Me, Devteam and the support team members) only need to vote once on a pic and it either goes or stays. This is usually fine, but what happened with this pic is one of the support team voted it "off" and then - reviewed it themselves to stay off!! Most of the time, photos in the mod queue need to be voted to stay or go by three mods, before moving to stage 3.

This is a fault in our system as of course the person that votes off a pic shouldn't be able to review their own appraisal!

So - I will get that fixed so this won't happen again.

The people that mention the line is hard to draw are also correct in that "sexualness" depends on who is viewing it. I tell mods and support to look at the comments, likes and the member type (length of tenure, verified, premium etc.) to factor in this decision when it is a borderline case.

Lastly, @GottaBeMe you made the statement;

I can assure you I do very much give a shit, and I hope that is evident in the way in which I investigate every one of these type of situations personally and make changes to the system where necessary to improve the experience for everyone.

All our verified members are a very valued group of members and I hope that you re-consider your changing view of the site in light of my comments here.
