I would definitely have been shocked to no end as well!
For wearing such a shirt you get fined over here (at least a few thousands) and get on a sercret servive list right away. A visible symbol (the cross) is enough. You'll be *watched* for the rest of your life, which isn't even enough punishment in my view.

This reminds me of NN stuff: 'freedom of expression'... That is a uniquely American thing. Unfortunately, some of us don't know when to shut up or use sense (like the man in the T-shirt).

The laughter of the visiting Brits sounds like nervous laughter. I hope they decide to come back despite the view they got this time round. :)

This makes me sad :(

I am glad this wasn't there first time here though. I'd hate thinking that was our country's first impression to anyone :( People need to think about things like that before acting like nim rods in public!

Freedom of expression? I would have practiced my own "freedom of expression" all up and down his ass then! ;)

People forget...it's a large world...with diffirent customs,cultures, and laws...
I am sure than some Americans give that impression...Just as other parts of the world...would find things as they travel...Soho,Paris,Hong Kong...and the land down under is totally different...I gave up my firearms, but I still think they are needed at times

Every country has thier idots, this guy was one of ours. In the US he has the right to show how much of an idiot he is in public.
