Alley Cats (200: Ok, this isn"t a DVD, but if there is any single trend noteworthy over the past decade it"s the emergence of Internet-only content as a serious force in gay porn. Nowhere is that more evident than in Alley Cats, the first movie that Randy Blue produced that had a plot, sets, costumes, multiple scenes, and all the other trappings of a regular studio flick. What it does have that studios don"t is Chris Rockway, Reese Rideout and a cast of studs fucking in an interrogation room. You can"t watch it on DVD, but it"s still a classic and a first of its kind.

Buckleroos (2004): This Western epic was one of the first sweeping productions to take the GayVN Awards by storm. Thanks to Buckshot and directors John Rutherford and Jerry Douglas, we spilled countless loads to that final orgy scene on a pool table. And this image of Dean Phoenix has been etched into our brains as iconic of the era like Farrah Fawcett was for straight boys in the 70s.

Cirque Noir (2005): This moody piece from TitanMen is memorable for many reasons, including some acrobatic sex and a sex-crazed clown but nothing is as memorable as when Tober Brandt and Logan Steele discover carny Buck Angel has a pussy. And then they fuck the hell out of it. This movie blew the minds of gay men everywhere, thanks to Angel, who made one crazy debut.

Cop Shack II: Crossing the Line (2006): This list wouldn"t be complete with at least one opus Joe Gage made for TitanMen. It would have been Arcade on Route 9, except for one thing: pussy. In a scintillating movie, Gage throws in a bisexual scene between Leah Wilde, Scott Wilde, and Logan Robbins that probably had all the boys at home scratching their heads rather than rubbing their dicks. We applaud his masterstroke for crossing a boundary and giving us something we didn"t even know we wanted.

Cover Boys (2001): When icons Lukas Ridgeston and Johan Paulik return to the screen and star in the same movie, you know it"s a big deal. With gorgeous, young muscled twinks in lush settings with impeccable cinematography, you have quintessential Bel Ami.

The Hole (2003): Ok, The Hole is our favorite porn movie of all time. Seriously. We still jerk off to it several times a year, and we also pull it out at parties to gawk at the hilarious B roll. Based on The Ring it tells the story of a video tape that makes watchers turn gay after 7 days. Done with camp and humor, the story is ludicrously fantastic. But, what could have been a bunch of stale jokes is woven together with some intense action from stars like Tag Eriksson and Jason Adonis. A masked orgy scene totally got our eyes wide open, but it"s Josh Hammers laughably bad acting that makes us gag every time. This Wash West masterpiece is a must own.

Michael Lucas La Dolce Vita (2006): Say what you will about Michael Lucas, but he had a fine run in the middle of the decade with movies like Dangerous Liaisons and The Intern and it"s definitely this movie that will always be his calling card. It creates the Lucas ethos, a glamorous life in New York full of hot and horny boys willing to tear each others clothes off at fashion shows, cocktail parties, and limousines. He even got plenty of mainstream attention for getting Marc Jacobs to allow Lucas to film a non-sex scene in one of his stores. This is an ambitiously lush production that lived up to the classic that inspired it.

Spokes III (2006): The reason this is a classic? The Mason Wyler gang bang. Director Chris Steele and writers Jack Shamama and Michael Stabile (of Gay Porn Blog fame) had a stroke of genius and had Wyler get fucked by eight guys at once, including hotties like Pierre Fitch, Jeremy Hall, and Ralph Woods. This is possibly our single favorite gay porn scene of all time.

To the Last Man (200: This is the epitome of the lavish productions for which the decade will be known. After starting with Buckleroos, it"s fitting the decade should end with another Western. While Raging Stallion"s Grunts is probably a better production, this is a much better movie as a whole. You can"t beat the spectacular locations or Ricky Sinz and Walking Work of Art Logan McCree"s near of Scott Tanner.

Wet Palms (2005): If any project was ahead of its time, it was this serial that was possibly the first to be released on the internet as chapters before it was compiled on DVD. Framed as a campy soap opera set in an all-male, clothing optional resort, Jet Set"s Wet Palms had recurring characters, silly plot lines (again courtesy of Shamama and Stabile), and tons of great action with some of the decades A-list stars like Rod Barry, Jason Adonis, Zak Spears, and Brad Benton. We wish that someone would resurrect the series now that the internet-to-DVD practice is pretty much industry-wide.<br>
