Two of the worse yet best movies I have seen from the 80s. Love the story in the first one. Wax displays that once you step into, it becomes real. Corny, and yet over all a good story. Some of the scenes are comical and over acted, which only helps to add to the 80s B movie experience.

Then you have Waxwork 2 Somewhere in Time, which should have been named Somewhere in Parodies. Virtually every scene is a parody of Horror or SciFi film greats. Frankenstein, starts out the list, then you have House on Haunted Hill, with B movie king Bruce Campbell, Alien, and several others including Dawn of the Dead. It was a horrible and fantastic movie just like the first.

Both movies were so bad that like many 80s B movies you have to ask, was it intentionally that bad?

Seriously, you try and leave a comment on one of my pictures and it doesn't go through because you've obviously been blocked, why post two more comments? How stupid can one person be? And for the idiots who like to comment "This aint facebook" and the like, get a clue...

Chow Yun Fat stars as a hard-boiled Hong Kong detective, who lost his partner in a gunfight, teams up with an undercover cop to stop a ruthless crime mob from smuggling guns and killing innocent people.

Directed by John Woo, and co staring Tony Leung Chiu Wai, Hard-Boiled is a Bloody Hero style of movie, that some say after making films that featured gangsters in the lead role, John Woo wanted to make a Dirty Harry styled film to glamorize the role of a police officer. In 2007, a video game sequel to Hard Boiled titled Stranglehold was released. The movie and John Woo were both influences of the video game Max Payne as well.

Went to Toys r Us today, and found a plush gizmo doll. But the coolness doesn't stop there, he sings and dances too. Had to buy it for master. Well post pictures with him soon.

We went out for mexican again today, love the place. Salsa and chips keep coming as long as you want them, and they are made fresh daily. Today I fried I've cream, for the first time. It was great, they make their own ice cream, it is so good . There is a chinese place near by that does fried ice cream too, I have to convince master to try there soon.

Master and I went for Mexican this evening, we had a great meal, and finished it off with Choco Chimi. A banana rolled up in a flour tortilla and fried, then coated with cinnamon and sugar, finally topped with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. It was great however next time I plan to get the fried ice cream…

Found the perfect valentines day gift for master, a Super Mario Chess set, and Nintendo Monopoly. He is going to love them.
