1.)

A small high school east of my hometown just won the state championship in baseball. I'm proud of them. They're the first school in my county to ever win the state in baseball.

2.) I'm not making this up: I read the obituaries today. A fellow named Leon Knigga passed away at age 75. Now THAT is a name I would have changed, had it been me!

The Greatest Generation survived the Great Depression, WWII and made this country a world power.

Sadly, my generation (Baby Boomers) dropped the ball and sent us on a downward spiral.

Honoring those who sacrificed for the country today, the 70th anniversary of D Day.
