HA.. the haters fail to prevail

Im way to busy with.. non purr stuff

She has her pick of the loot.... hence the amber and what not..

I had a gig as a driver.... I didn't make money, as it was a set up to damage my passenger if not void his DNA, rather than do any legit business... he was suckered into an ambush..

However...it wasn't my first rodeo, and they couldnt hang doing 80 and blowing stop lights much less the whole cornering at 45-50 mph thing...

I wasn't paid to do security, but I could see it coming and had my head right... Ive carried payrolls and gem stones..and know jewlers who ended up in several dumpsters.... soooo..Im a little paranoid about things being tight.. never say where, when or even direction of travel... and this boy talked toooo much..

Dummy..... Hes off the "can call" me call list.. Im not returning any calls.. I hate having my time wasted or problems because people have no grip...

Other than that... its been good.. Purr is great, she always knows what time it is.... from A-Z

Shes also met people I do business with... a judge I know and a former mayor or two.. Its not the simple life or a one dimensional portrait.. its fairly complex or at least convoluted like a piece of brain coral.. or spider web..

It is what it is.... I want her to see rennfaires and that life as well... Here or there, its the same gig and the skills all come together in a crowd...

Bagdad is close as its Timbuctoo and Salome, Araby is out there somewhere as well..

We need a day trip to do some Joshua tree photos for Seaxun... I want her to see how big and diverse the my world is, sans touristas.. the mountians twisted and tumbled, volcanos in an old seabed, the water gone and said volcanos extinct.. even the stones black from the heat and passage of time..

Petroglyphs.. geoglyphs.. mining activity, game trails and prospectors claims.... gangsters and ex cons.. not that shes seen much of that, Im not known for being tolerant... my boys bow down cause shes there which is better than a broken knee should they fail to be.... polite

I gave her a fossil megalodon tooth from a 30 footer to celebrate shark week.. not that there any non fossil megaladons about.. I burned some amber for her, now she knows what 10,000,000 years smells like.. prehuman forest and eaons of time.. myrh and frankincense were also involved so she can get a grasp of the trade and how it works... but mostly the why..

She's happy I am what I seem to be and isnt horrified or appalled by my life..

Shes now my partner... and I let her in on how the money gets made, and when she gets home.. she handles what we need to do, God knows I have access to the goods..

She has some pieces I made, which are hers now... its family only stuff and traditional that sit at the bench or cut the stones rather than buy or sell for them.. the idea being its my time, thought and skill devoted to just them..or her in this case

Shes met a few of the local shot callers... one was suprised to see me with a woman..its sort of unheard of, given my quirks and rules...

He told her she was entitled to err.... bastard friend or no..

I told purr about the blog before I posted.. since shes shark obsessed

This time of year, my life has more in common with a shark than my normal day to day 125 degree heat desert living... its all constant movement and hunting..

I make my money now.. but its not always cash.. payment comes in favors and obligation, favored trader status, the mordida and influence.. all of which is worth more than just a few dollars profit...

She gets it, but I tell her everything and break-it-on-down in detail.. the whys and whats of my world..

Shes so quick on the uptake.. and I need or maybe want a partner.... not that I ever had one but shes my choice.. my balance..

Im agressive when Im on my game... she puts it in perspective and makes me a life that nots just about ganking la touristas.. I don't fall out end of a run like normal and just flop where-ever..

I go home to her...

we exchange war stories and make a few together...

I stop moving.. I drown.. she gets it and has my back... what else is there to want?

And she has a pretty arse.....

Shes great..did I mention that?

Her son is getting one of my straight razors as his introduction into manly rituals.. its my favorite razor and I want him to have it... his mom is planning to use it on me in a positive way..

Which is a good thing for him and I.... Im the approved man in his mothers life and theirs... so he gets loot too.. its not just about his mom and us..its them too..
