I want to travel someplace where I'm not having to work. Or the army doesn't flip the bill.

I'm kinda of a history nut as if you don't realize from the blog before. Especially war history. To answere depot I don't believe that times are so different we can't all come together like than and stand behind the cause and conflicts we are in. I hate the way the country watches the one sided news and make thier stand from there. I guess I'm blind and Nieve from life.

Maybe that is why I'm alone also.

As we are loosing the greatest generation at astounding rates. Call an old reletive and let them know we appreciate what they did for us. A generation the men and woman fron all races can come together and fight for a horror that happened to the Men , Woman and children (Yes children died in Pearl Harbor) of a territory of the US. To bad we can't do that now

I love the snow and winter but why does it have to be so cold this early in the winter......ARG

Well woke up with about 8 to 10 inches of snow. It kinda quit snowing and started sleeting last night. Talking with someone where I work it sounds like they got over a foot of snow there. Its not that stick to the trees snow so it isn't as pretty outside. It was too cold for that.When that happens I will take a pic and show the non snow people what I mean.

While sitting in the chatroom and watching a regular was talking about leaving. I was thinking the other day about people who leave and have returned. Why is so tuff to not come back?

I'll be leaving again in the morning for work. Can I pray for a ton of snow again tonight so I don't have to go.

I was wondering why;

When I look at profiles for woman they are never looking for nice old man?

If I was a Bi female I would so be in.

We are suppose to get a real dumping of snow today. It just started snowing an hour ago and the streets are covered already. I will keep you informed on how much we get. We didn't get any measurable snow last year tel after christmass last year. Heres hoping for a real Minnesotain winter this year. But not for a long one

God is play a trick on us. Already has been below zero and it ain't December yet. But what was really funny was. The Brigade we are training has units attached to it from West Virginia and Oklahoma. I was talking to one of the soldiers from WV up here for a meeting and he says "Is it always this f--King cold here" and I say "Hell yes it is Minnesota" hehehehe.

The east border of Post I work at is the Mississippi river. When you go out the gate andturn to go to the main highway you cross over a bridge. I really didn't realize how cold it had gotten and the river had frozen over. But the current there is so fast that it breaks up during the day. It had made a huge Ice dam and it looked really cool. But again I forgot my camera at my room this weekend.

We have also been out looking over training areas and have been seeing some monster Whitetails. But yet again no camera.

All my bags are packed and I'm not ready to go. But I need to return back to work. My coming home is always full of supriese and the same old same old. While I'm working and staying up north the X is living in the house with the kids. I come home and the house is a disaster (just like my spelling). She never lets me in on anything I let the kids go places and do stuff and I find out later she band them from that and there. By the time I leave for work I'm ready to go.

Sucks thoe I have a small room and get to eat a lot of on can food. At least now I can make it in my room. I have a full 14 channels on my TV and no internet. I was talking to a friend and complained about the TV and he said quit crying you only had 6 when you were growing up. How times have changed. This is like the fourth year Army took away my hunting. At least I didn't waste a lot of money on hunting.

Well off to bed I need to get up early and get up to my lonely cold room. I can't complain thoe at least I know we are training the soldiers right for Iraq. Not like the training we got. later all its going be a short week.

How do you know winter is coming besides its damn cold:

While I'm driving around I see all the ponds are freezing up nd the geese are standing on the ice thinking time to go south. All the fields are cut and just look bare. except for the geese standing in them. DEER HUNTING IS OVER (cring here). Thanksgiving comes and goes. But you know what really tells me its coming:

When I'm out and there are flocks of Swans heading south. For some reason they are always the last of the big birds heading south. And thier flute for a honk.
