Gawd I am SO lame >.<

I'm with-holding judgment on the new roommates. This is because I know my tendencies. I say I love a person a then after a few weeks I begin to loathe them. That always happens to me. If I think I like a teacher on the first day I hate them by the last. If I think I like someone on the first meeting I can't stand them later on. That's how it always goes. I hated my best friends when I first met them.

So I'm going to be careful and no say that I think this chick is pretty cool and I'm not goanna say that the suitemates seems all right. We'll just wait.

I met them last night though and we hung out for about two hours just talking and going over our likes and dislikes. Nicky shares a LOT in common with me and we spent most of our time saying 'me too!' or 'that's what think too!' or 'same as me!' She reminds me a little bit of Ariel at times (that psycho bitch I used to be friends with), but occasionally a more mature version. She doesn't seem as prone for the drama or the theatrics and seems fairly open and honest. She's into Egypt very much so and is hoping her fiance will have an Egyptian wedding when they get married.

The suitemates seem all right so far too. One I'm a little unsure of but she hasn't been mean necessarily, she just doesn't strike mas a person I would hang out with on a regular basis. The other girl is very joking and playful and I don't think I'll mind living next to her.

The room is small and Nicky and I will be sharing a bunk bed, but she asked if I could sleep on the top and I said "Hell yeah!" The only thing I need to figure out now is how I'm getting my alarm clock up there xD Her former roommate's shit is still in the room, but Nicky said I could move in whenever and she'd just box up the roomie's crap and get it out of the way.

I emailed her and asked if she wouldn't mind me starting to move in today and getting most of my stuff in there now rather than when finals were taking place.

More good news, the Dean said if it's all right with my teacher he doesn't mind me taking the Psyche of Personality final early, which means I'll be out of here by Wednesday at the latest I think and can see my friend early.

Things are looking pretty okay. I'll just cross my fingers everything goes okay next semester =)



p.s. something bit my toe last night and it stings like a mother fucker when I curl my toes now. D:

I got my new room just recently, hurray! It's not on the second floor, it's on the first, which means I'm not devoid the view, but I didn't look out the window that much anyway, so I'm not concerned. I'm also living in a suite, which means two rooms connected to a bathroom. There's me and my roomie in one room and two other girls in the next and we're all sharing the bathroom. I'm a little worried, but it works for others, hopefully us.

As for the new roomie. I'm withholding judgment. =) We've emailed back and forward and she sounds a little hyper active. She says she has a fiance and that she doesn't party and she doesn't mind being in before 1 in the morning (praise the gods). It sounds okay so far, but I'm seriously not going to open my mouth an jynx it all up.

I'm goanna head down to the room tonight and check it (and her) out. I'll also move in probably during the weekend if I can and get it all out of the way early, before the stress of finals, that way after Tuesday I hope I can get the hell out of here and go be with my friend for an awesome vacation! =D

I gots three to four more days before I'm done with this room mate! Cheers!

That's what it feels like. It's taking forever to find out my new room assignment because that lady still hasn't emailed me and next week just seems so ridiculously far away. =(

To top it off, I think I pissed off one of the Deans at the school. If we're a first year student here we HAVE to get the full-meal plan, which is a few thousand dollars. I wouldn't care, if I actually ate in the dining hall. But I don't =/ Food's not that great. I only go in for breakfast and if I'm desperate the occasional supper. So I emailed the Dean of Student Activities because I was told if I want change my meal plan, I have to email him and let him know. He says I can't, because I'm a freshman. I say 'no no no, I'm a junior, just my first year HERE. And this meal plan is literally just draining money from me. Money I really could use.'

"Well, it's your responsibility to schedule classes when you can get a meal. The dining hall is open from 7-6 and I'm certain there's some time during that you could eat."

No, you're not getting it. It's not that I'm a moron and can't, it's that I don't WANT to. But in the end he just said it was a binding contract for a year and I informed him that obviously it wasn't going to change no matter what, so thanks for his time.

But now I have to email this guy again if I want to take a final early. =( I have three finals on Monday, one right after the other, and then two on Tuesday and my last one is on Thursday. I don't want to just sit around this campus forever waiting for a final. Bleh. So I asked the teacher if I could take it early, that way I can get the hell out of here as soon as possible and get to my friend's place, who just informed me her boyfriend will NOT be showing up, which is good. Because if he did show up, I just could not stay at her place *hates the guy*

Tonight I have another performance for Spirit club and tomorrow a powerpoint due. For once I'm not the person doing the main freak out on this project. There's a black chick in our group who is just crazy about making sure we look super professional and she wants to meet tonight at 10 to work on it.

Ahahaha, no. I did my Child Psychology powerpoint the day of, the group had no practice, and we made a 100. Now, if that nut-buster of a teacher can give us a 100, this moron of a teacher can too. It's a computer class ffs. Just get up there, talk for a few minutes and be done with it already. I'm not staying up until late just so we can practice and totally get it down! Yeah! Go Team Fuck-Me!

In any case, once that project is out of the way and this upcoming quiz for Substance Abuse I'll have nothing else to worry about, except the Finals. Hopefully they will all go well. I'd hate for my first semester in college to be a bunch of D's and C's. D:

I've started talking to a friend of mine again, a male friend, woo. It's nice to be able to talk to a guy again, one that likes you especially and finds you attractive. Dork lives up in Kanses (of course it couldn't be too easy for me), but the flirting and talking about how lame people can be is nice.

Okay, so I'm just going to go take that quiz now and wait with bated breath for the email of my new room.

Has been wonderful. I've adored this time to be home, relax and just be stupid.

Stupid as in on the way here I got a ticket >.>; my first ticket, which sucked. I didn't get the 'warning' because I guess I was going too fast. Sheesh, go 85 in a 70 mph area and the cops freaks. Srsly =/

In any case, besides that everything has been great. Good food and relaxing time. I've been able to just snug and chill, joke with my parents and enjoy the warmth and coziness of my home. Right now I'm waiting for Cops to end so I can pop in 'Prince of Egypt.'

My dad and I have always enjoyed kids movies. I dunno, they're just simpler and more delightful. He was happy to have a little girl I think because it gave him a chance to see all the Disney movies and then all the Dreamworks and what not. And we still enjoy every now and then popping something cute in and just chilling as we watch the Muppets or Pete's Dragon or whatever. I like it too. Sometimes it's just noise, which is what I really need for school.

We were going to go to church tonight because my parents though they were going to be doing some yearly lighting of the candle, where the whole church is dark except one candle and one by one everyone lights a candle and the church slowly lights up. I'm not into Catholicism that much, though I'm interested in all religions, but this ceremony sounded so very interested I wanted to go. But come to find out that ceremony is on Easter, so I'll wait. =)

I only have one more REAL week to go and half of that is going to be review for the classes for the finals. During finals I'm changing room, so tomorrow when I get back I'm going to find all the stuff that goes to the cable box and collect it up. At the end of the second week I'll be with my best friend.

Okay, nervous too, because I hate driving in busy scary traffic. There's a point on I-295 where there's all these exits and for some stupid reason I always take the wrong one and get turned around and have to get on the interstate, off the interstate, on the interstate, off the interstate, and eventually I find I-10, it just sucks and takes forever and generally I don't find it until I start crying haha.

But on the bright side, I'm staying for more than just a day and a half this time. I'm going to be there for four whole days, and five if you add together tonight and sunday morning. Omg!! =D

But still, I'm just ready to gooooo. I wanna get my shit down in my car and get my ass outta here.

Once I get back I find out who my new roomie is hopefully. I also asked about the cable box, because here's the game: I bought the cable box, it has my name on it, but it's her tv and she's paying for cable, because I personally don't care if I watch tv or not, it's always been just for noise in my family, we rarely actually WATCH it (except Kricket =P). So my worry was what do I do with MY cable box when I change rooms?

Wellies! What I do is I take the bitch with me =) I keep the cable box, can do whatever I want with it, such as turn it in and get my money back, and the roomie can't do a thing about it. She has to get her own now. Now, this wouldn't be nearly as funny unless I told everyone she's not finding any of this out until the day I change rooms. I'm not telling her a thing, not that I'm moving, not that the cable box is coming with me, until the day I just start unplugging it and picking up all the shit that goes with it.

Bwaahhahahahaha!

So finally it's Friday and I'm insanely excited because I get to go see my friend Jessica, if I can navigate Gainseville that is. Haha. I have time until I have to go, because she's not available until 3, so I'll leave about 1:15 or so, but what to do until then?

Take a shower and pack I guess. I do have a paycheck waiting so I'll go put it in the bank and then window shop, because I can't afford to actually shop, especially not with Christmas coming up. Luckily my family has never been a big one on 'I want *insert expensive gift here*' And I know they'll think no less of me if I get something shitty but still...

Sunday I'll work and then I just have to trudge through Monday and half of Tuesday and then I'm on my way home, thank the gods. That about four and a half days of homey bliss and good food.

I'm just sitting here waiting to go to my Child Psyche class and get the presentation over with. I hate presenting stuff like this, stuff that my grade depends on, because I never have a guarantee of how it's going to go, especially when groups are involved. What's more, we turn in the paper today and I'm not sure if I did it right. I had written one on a learning experience where I was bit by a dog, and I realize that was incredibly boring, to the point I couldn't stand it. I hate boring things. So two days before I had to turn it in I wrote a new paper about Piaget and Religion. It's a stretch because I really don't think Piaget meant for his four stages of cognitive development to be attributed to something like religion. =/ but it's written and we'll see.

I'm just anticipating the end of the semester and a new year with a new roomie. I asked about single rooms during my Spirit Club meeting and they said I couldn't have one, I have to be either a junior or a senior, to which I informed them I'm a junior and they were all surprised. Rightfully so I guess. In any case, I have the ability to get a single, but I don't want to isolate myself from people so fast just yet, at least I don't think I want to.


Hrmmmmmm...

I woke up this morning and realized I had slept so well! Amazingly well! I woke up only once and that was from a nightmare, but besides that nothing else. Hurray! So I feel all good and fuzzy this morning and I look over to the roomie bed to cast her an appraising and thankful glance even if she can't see it and...

She's not there xD She didn't come back last night from whatever it is she does, probably stayed the night at a friend's.

Which explains WHY I had such a good night's sleep.
