Beware of dating site scammers n spammers

There are several members here using their blogs to promote dating paysites which charge a monthly recurring fee of £15 just to access contacts after you join them for free.The recurring part is in very small print...lol
You can recognise this scam by the way they use their blogs to spam the same sites over and over.Some also repeat the same few pics they post.
The sites pretend to be full of members but you can find out the real
story by going to' the site behind the site'

Save your money and get a bargain premium membership from NN with access to Big Pics/vids/comment + photo manager etc etc

Support NN - not the scammers !!

in that site. And in the process, I discovered site advisor from McAfee. If you use Firefox, it is a free add-on that turns red when you hit a problem site (bugs, spam, germs, trojan horses) and also puts a color code on your search results. (It is also there for IE, but friends don't let friends use IE.)

Anyway, that site is very revealing as to how the scam works. Read (REALLY read) the contract, privacy statement and site TOS... It will open your eyes.

Yeah right ! Free to join and put up a profile but you have to 'upgrade' to make contact with other members.

The prolific spam n scam members here type the same old lines in their blogs.If anyone then posts a critical comment the scammers repeat the same line.

The latest developement is even funnier.The person behind the scamming has forgotten which profile/blog they're in and is posting under the wrong name but using the same text

Q - What do 'twofems','sugersutton' and 'mollymolly' have in common ?

A1 - They all seem to post comments in 'twofems' blog as if they are the same person

A2 - They seem to like repeating the same phrases in their blogs n pic captions.Probably too shagged out to think of something original

A3 - None of them want to use the NN PM system to make contact.

A4 - None of them feel the need to post verified pics

I just checked and these regular spam n scammers who
relentlessly plug DIYdating sites have all not logged in for over 10 days.......thats of course presuming they ARE different people

The two with * are almost certainly the same person!

To anybody who has used the Internet for a few years, will know that virtually everything is a scam or a spam.

I've had a few web cam girls coming on to my web cam show, to ask if I want to see them. Then they try everything to get me to go to their con site. You simply have to realise that beautiful women don't need to chase after men.

The worst aspect is that for genuine people, nobody will trust you.

So the answer is for everybody to wise up and keep posting all the latest scams.

I downloaded a video from another site containung a virus today. So be careful and keep all the antivirus programs up to date.

Thanks Plums for the heads up on the scammers but once I "hear" that tone or see an addy I just pay them no mind. I might not be a genius but I'm not that easy.
