You will be missed by so many people. Van Halen is one of the greatest bands of all time and you were a guitar God! You will never be forgotten you will live forever in your music. RIP Eddie Van Halen 1955 - 2020

Got slammed by that news when it first came out. He lived a full life, though.

Always had a guitar in his hand, and any vid you see of him, you can tell he loved playing -- always with a smile on his face. He simply loved guitar.

Changed rock music with just one, one-minute track: Eruption.

It's hard to believe that Eddie wrote eruption for Van Halen's debut album in 1978. The sounds he made were unbelievable. He was a inspiration to a lot of guitar players of today. One interview Eddie said he taught Randy Rhodes some tricks. EVH will be missed by so many.
