We were driving down the road and my Mrs and I were having our normal naughty teasing conversation when the phone rings. I take the call and handle the situation and resume our trip south to our scheduled appointment. While I was on the phone Mrs had decided to check her account on our favorite adult (Of Course it’s NN) web site. Mrs and my minds and hearts are going to be rather preoccupied today.
After months of grueling chemo one of our daughters is going into surgery this morning to have double mastectomy's.
Due the covid19 infection rate we are not allowed to be there for the surgery which is really tough for a Mom and Dad who want to be there for her.
We are thankful that her Hubby is going to be allowed in, but also feel bad for him to be waiting by himself during the 5 1/2 hour surgery.
We are praying that God brings her through this procedure cancer free, and that she can soon get her life back to a less challenging and more enjoyable path.
Nothing we have ever faced in life has been as hard on both the Mrs and I as watching one of our daughters go through the hell chemo has proved to be for her.
She is one amazingly tough woman, and we are so very proud of her for how she has continued to be such an amazing Mother and spouse while going through the fight of her life. We know her battle won't be completely over with this surgery, as she will have some major recuperation to do after surgery and she will also be continuing her chemo.
We have faith that between all our prayers and her amazing strength we will get to witness our baby girl complete her successful journey to full health.
