So I contacted someone on here, and they thought I was dodgy based on my profile. Okay, unfortunate and I was slightly stung, but it's not good getting too hung up on what others think. Plus, you can't blame anyone for being cautious. I'd rather someone not interact with me than interact and be constantly waiting to see how I'd betray their trust - that's no fun for anyone!

But, they said they'd seen other pictures about that were similar to mine, implying I'd pinched them and was passing them off as my own.

Not liking me, I'm fine with, thinking I'm a thief and liar... nope! If I have a flaw aside from being tired and grumpy all the time, it's that I'm painfully honest, even if it doesn't show me in a good light.

So I've just uploaded different versions of four of my old photos. Two are uncropped and unedited, two are completely different photos that obviously come from the same grouping.

I'm not cross, just but there are some things I won't let stand.

A week after that post, I had my mini-stroke. Then I moved interstate six months later. After that I started a business, became a father, moved interstate again...

Not a huge amount to say. My mysterious health issues in 2006 turned out, after a nail-biting year of of not knowing what was going on, to be a mini-stroke! Effects of which were made worse by not getting immediate therapy and such because, well, the doctors didn't know what was wrong, so they couldn't suggest it. Part of what threw them was, I wasn't a drinker, smoker, overweight, didn't do drugs, and I was pretty darned healthy with only a tiny bit of excess weight.

*shrugs* I'm not bitter, it's just unfortunate that I still struggle a lot because of it, but there's plenty of folks worse off than me.

I'll try and update all my profile details soon. But apart from having moved, gotten grey, and put on weight, not much has changed. I haven't seen my lover in person for years thanks to Covid, but we chat regularly. I'm glad wife, kids, GF and I got to all go away together a few months before the big 2019 bush fire and Covid!
