On this day: Peter Sellers, versatile English comic actor whose astonishing range of characters earned him international stardom died on July 24, 1980, London at the age of 55. RIP Pink Panther.

Like many a genius comedian he had his demons and a very dark side, I cried with laughter in the Pink Panther films : )
