How are You Beating the Heat?

The weather has been unseasonably warm for June. Thus far, in my part of the world, we've had two 100° days, the reamainder has been in the high 90's. We took the boat out this morning when the temperature was in the high 70's, low 80's. We've also spent time in our pool, as well as the air conditioning!

Not a problem here so far...
Although I prefer natural heat rather than generated heat to just to keep warm.
My electricity bill is very high.

I miss our pool.

We used to have a pool but we moved some years ago. A pool now isn’t really feasible. So when it’s 96F/36C with 90% humidity we stay indoors and crank the AC.

I've been "poolside" so to speak all week. I'm on staycation this week so whenever I get overheated from catching up on my hunnydo list, I can get in the pool and cool off. It has been absolutely brutal this week. mid and upper 90's all week.

It's been over a hundred degrees F around here for the last month so I have been mostly naked indoors all day, lucky for me I'm retired and can do this. I also wear loose shorts without underwear and a light T-shirt when going out to shop or outdoors. It too hot sometimes to ever try and venture outdoors, have already burned my ankle on the step by just getting out of the truck. I wish I had a swimming pool or be near a lake. Stay cool folks.

When it gets hot here I put water in plastic bottles then put them in the freezer. Once frozen you stick them in front of any fans you have to get a nice gust of cold air at you.
